Independent Entertainers

Not everyone can successfully run an event. What any independent DJ/entertainer knows and will tell you is, that it took them years to get the experience that they have now. One thing that only comes with experience is the capability to read a crowd and go with that flow and motivate the people to the dance floor or to any activity that is going on, but also not to be too over bearing or try to get people to do something that they don't want to do. It is a thin line between having fun or having a lousy time, a DJ/entertainer should know this and should know what to do in any situation.

All of the entertainers, engineers and technicians I work with are team players and only want success as the outcome of any event we do. Many go to seminars and expo's on a regular basis to learn what their peers are doing and to incorporate any new techniques. Another point to remember is the  fear of public speaking, getting up in front of large gatherings then talking on a microphone. Not everyone can do this. My network of independent DJs have been doing this for years, many have at one time or another been on, or still work on the radio, TV, or have been involved with large public audiences on a routine basis and If you have someone that needs a coach I can give them some pointers. The independent entertainers I work with all have the skills to be the masters of ceremonies, music programmers, audio technician and engineer, lighting technicians, event planner and coordinator, party motivator and have professional equipment, music library, references and apply a professional code of ethics and standards to every event. At this time I am working to incorporate an accreditation program with the National Association of Mobile Entertainers (N.A.M.E.) that I hope will become the standard in the mobile entertainment industry. A program that applies the knowledge and experience we have already acquired with the willingness and eagerness to learn the new technologies as they come out.

With the advances in computer technology there are many people that think they could DJ a party just because they have a large library of  music and these days many do. You hire David Letterman for who he is and Jay leno for his style but what are you going to get from John Doe? You can roll the dice if you want to, but if you want the odds to be in your favor you should hire someone with the experience and creative ingenuity that  all the entertainers I work with have. Of course independent DJ/entertainers require more monetary investment, but the cost is really minimal compared to the quality of performance and the experience you get. Think about what if at the event something happens that the in-experienced performer does not know what to do, at that point and time you would pay any thing to make things right. If you need to save a few dollars call John Doe, but if you want quality and experience give us a call.  Along with your own ideas and my team, I will look forward to creating an event for you that will only bring you fond memories.  When any event... weddings, anniversaries, awards, or any special occasion comes along that means so much to you, it pays to hire someone who cares.
